2. Principles
Hunkeler Digital Services processes personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website, respond to enquiries and provide its services. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies.
3. Server log data
When the website is accessed, technically necessary log data is processed, in particular IP address, time, requested resource, referrer, browser information and status code. This data is used for secure and stable operation and for troubleshooting.
4. Hosting
The website is operated by an external hosting provider whose infrastructure is located in Strasbourg, France. The provider processes data solely on behalf of Hunkeler Digital Services and only for operating the website. As a member state of the European Union, France provides an adequate level of data protection within the meaning of the FADP.
5. Contact form
The data entered in the contact form (name, company, email address, subject and message) is used solely to handle your enquiry and is sent by email to info@hpl.ch. Transmission from your browser to the website is encrypted via HTTPS; email delivery uses transport encryption where supported by the mail servers involved.
To prevent abuse, a hash of your IP address is stored together with the time of the request in order to limit the number of requests per sender. Enquiries are kept as long as necessary to handle them and to meet any statutory retention obligations.
Please do not submit sensitive or confidential information through the contact form.
6. Cookies and tracking
The website does not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies and does not use external tracking services.
7. External content
Fonts, icons and all other resources are loaded directly from this website. No external font services, social media plugins or external scripts are used.
8. Your rights
Under the FADP, you may in particular request information about your personal data and its correction, deletion or release. Please send requests to info@hpl.ch. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
9. Changes
This privacy notice may be updated if the website, services or legal requirements change. The version published on this website applies.
